Yes. The scoring screen works fully offline. Every score you enter is saved on the device instantly and syncs automatically the moment you get connectivity again, merging with the shoot so multiple devices scoring different stages of the same shoot stay consistent.
A club shares a single registration link with prospective members. They create an account (email, Google or Apple sign-in), follow the link, and are added to the club as a pending member. A club Manager or Master approves them, and they're in.
Yes. Every club starts with a default zone set (Alpha, Charlie, Delta, Steel, Penalty, Miss), but a Manager or Master can rename any zone, change its point value, add new zones, reorder them, or retire ones you don't use, from Club Settings. Renaming a zone never breaks past results — scores are recorded against the zone's underlying key, not its display label.

Yes. Data is stored on our own servers over encrypted HTTPS, passwords are salted hashes, and we don't sell or share your data or run advertising. Club administrators see their own club's membership and scores; other members see names and results on shoot leaderboards; nobody outside the club can see anything unless they hold a specific shoot's results link. You can delete your account yourself at any time. Full details are in the privacy policy.
No. TopShot runs in any web browser, including offline scoring on match day, so no install is required to run a shoot. There's also a native Android app with the shot timer, offline scoring and club chat built in, for those who prefer it.
No. The microphone is used only while a timer is running, to detect gunshots and record split times. Audio is processed on the device in real time — no audio is ever recorded, stored or transmitted anywhere.
Tap the correct split to make it the official stage time. Any later splits — like a stray shot from an adjacent bay — stay visible, struck through, rather than being deleted from the record.
